Airport fun

So I got to the airport around 2.5 hours before departure, the line at the American Airlines booth wasn't long, but the people that were checking in had more possessions with them than many small countries. There was yelling, confusion, many different languages, and 3 poor poor American Airlines attendants.

I stepped up to the counter, and the flustered lady with no sense of humor behind the counter assured me that there was going to be an extra charge of $100 for my bike, and $15 for the first bag, and another 25$ on top of the $100 for my bike. After weighing my luggage, threw tags on my luggage to go to Mexico City, and handed me a boarding pass for Santiago Chile. Then we started over. Weighing the bags, new tags, and a new boarding pass. Her next words were "have a nice flight" and I left with a $140 smile. She totally forgot to charge me for all my extraneous crap. YAY!!

I now sit at gate C10 and my flight has been delayed, 1 hour and 20 min. My lay over in Dallas was supposed to be 1 hour and 10 min. The adventure continues. I intended to pick up a couple of traveling burritos before I left, but I ran out of time. All I have for the next 2 days of travel for food id a bag of penguin gummies that good old Nick (Santa Claus) gave me. It's a good thing I ate a big breakfast.

As it is going now, I will probably have some extra time in Dallas as well, there may be another post today. Oh Yah... Don't call me, my phone is not with me, for the next 5 months, so, e-mail is the way to go, or respond to these things.
